What do the Terms Mean
1. Eyepiece = The Eyepiece is what you look through to view the Microscope
2. Arm = The Arm holds the Eyepiece and Objective Lenses
3. Fine Focus= A knob used to focus slowly and on fine objects at large magnification levels
4. Coarse Focus= A knob used to focus very fast and in large movements.
5. Objective Lenses= The Objective Lenses magnify the subjects under them.
6. Stage= The Stage along with the Stage Clips hold the item you wish to view through the microscope
7. Diaphragm= The Diaphragm controls the appature settings
8. Light / Mirror = The Light and Mirror combination (Mirror not show in diagram) lights the item on the stage so that it can be seen when magnified.
9. Aperture= The Aperture controls the amount the light let out to allow control so that there is not too much light so that you cannot see your item
Base = The base hold the entire Microscope flat and steady
